Itinerary
Day 1 Ashgabat: The Marble Capital
Arrival in Ashgabat and meet your local guide. Begin exploring the city’s signature landmarks: The Monument of Neutrality, the National Museum of Turkmenistan, and the UNESCO-listed Parthian Fortresses of Nisa. End the day with a visit to the magnificent Ertugrul Gazi Mosque. Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 2 Ashgabat to Darvaza: The Desert’s Fiery Heart
Start the day with a visit to the Alem Indoor Ferris Wheel before heading north through the vast Karakum Desert. Stop in Yerbent village to experience local hospitality and nomadic traditions. By evening, arrive at the spectacular Darvaza Gas Crater, the world-famous “Door to Hell.” Watch the desert light up beneath the starts. Overnight in a traditional yurt camp.
Day 3 Darvaza to Merv: The Ancient Silk Road
After breakfast, continue your journey to Mary and the archaeological wonder of Merv, a UNESCO World Heritage Site once known as “Queen of the World.” Explore its timeless ruins, from the Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum to the Great Kyz Kala fortress. Overnight in Mary.
Day 4 Return to Ashgabat
Drive back to Ashgabat and transfer to the International Airport for your flight home.
